This ceremony is a long-standing cultural tradition in Myanmar, held before the construction of an important building such as a home, office or business premises. During the ceremony, monks chant sacred blessings and prayers for peace, protection and prosperity, symbolising the hope that the project will progress smoothly and that the new workplace will be filled with positivity, harmony and good fortune.
